We, the Syrian Kurds, have nothing to do with the freedom of Ocalan and its isolation. We certainly wish freedom, but this is the case of the Kurds of Turkey, where Ocalan is being held there. It's a legal matter and the Ocalan community has thousands of lawyers who can visit it, trust it, and do it more than once. The issue of the Kurds of Syria is greater than the isolation of Ocalan, the fate of three million Kurds is much bigger and more important than this issue, do not reduce the issue of a people in the person of one man.

لا علاقة لنا نحن أكراد سوريا بحرية أوجلان وفك العزلة عنه. نتمنى الحرية له بالتأكيد، ولكن هذه قضية أكراد تركيا حيث يعتقل أوجلان هناك. إنها مسألة قانونية ولجماعة أوجلان آلاف المحاميين يمكنهم زيارته هناك، والاطمئنان عليه، وفعلوا ذلك أكثر من مرة. قضية أكراد سوريا أكبر من عزلة أوجلان، مصير ثلاثة ملايين كردي أكبر وأهم من هذه القضية بكثير، فلا تختزلوا قضية شعب في شخص رجل واحد.
