Turkish occupation's violations documented Afrin canton witnessed more violations and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, where the situation in Afrin is getting worse day by day in comparison with other Syrian areas, especially in north Syria, in security, social, economic and cultural domains and demographic change practices.

AFRIN
Afrin canton still occupied since 10 months by Turkish occupation and its gangs in violation of all human rights and international conventions where its people live in tragic conditions.
In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA) has prepared a report documenting the actions and practices of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin recently.
Kidnapping and killing
The kidnappings and killings by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against the people of Afrin are increasing day by day. The number of kidnappings since the occupation of the city ranges from two thousand to three thousand, including dozens whose fate is anonymous, according to sources working to document the violations of mercenaries.
The Turkish occupation mercenaries killed Mohammed Hanif Rashid Ahmed who is 54-year-old, a resident of the village of Qurneh in Bulbul district, he was the owner of an olive mill in the village of Qustal Mekdad in Bulbul district. The mercenaries fired several rounds of live bullets at the civilian while he was in the mill’s yard, in addition to the injury of another person who was with the victim, we had no information about ID of the injured.
On the other hand, the mercenaries raided the house of Mustafa Faris, from the village of Ma'amla in Rajo district who is a resident of al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in Afrin city, they had stolen his property and tortured him.
Siege of a village and the abduction of 12 civilians
The Turkish occupation army's mercenaries have imposed a siege on the people of Kafrom village in Shara district, which has forced half of its indigenous residents to leave their homes since the occupation of Afrin by mercenaries following raids on the homes of the remaining civilians in the village.
The Turkish occupation's mercenaries raided the village for four consecutive days, during which they were banned from roaming the village and imposed an intensive curfew in the village, the mercenaries demanded that the settlers sell bread and foodstuffs at high prices to indigenous inhabitants of the village.
In addition, 12 civilians were kidnapped by the mercenaries, whose names are: Ahmed Hamid, the brothers Adnan and Mohammed Masto, Mohammed Jafo and the elderly women Dunya Khanum. They also released some of them with a fine of 100,000 Syrian pounds.
Destruction, sabotage of Maydanki dam stations
In the context of the policy of sabotage of the infrastructure in Afrin, and during the occupation of Afrin, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries had targeted the vicinity of Maydanki dam (17 April Dam), and the targeting severely damaged maintenance workshops to repair engines and machineries of dam and the supply of fuel and spare parts warehouses, and breaking the windows of the tower.
The Turkish occupation and its gangs having occupied Afrin, the dam's facilities, irrigation networks and irrigation stations were deliberately destroyed and robbed.
The mercenaries stole all the contents of the administration building of the dam in Afrin Center, including furniture, doors, windows, computers, electric generator collection and workshop generators, tampering with documents and burning them, stealing central warehouse contents from electrical and mechanical parts, stealing fuel tanks and water and turning machines.
They stole about 8 cars and machinery belonging to the Water Resources Company and stole all the contents of (Gamrok, Abdo, Tel -Tawil, Jumkeh and Bablet) stations from control panels, electric cables, electric motors and others.
As a result, the Maydanki dam has become uncontrolled and unmonitored, and the stations and networks of agricultural irrigation systems have become out of service, the vast plains of Zrafek and Gamrok, the plains of the villages of Istir, Juwayq and Qafrom, along the Afrin River southward to the village of Jalma and Diwa, as well as the plains of Marate and Bablet villages to the plains of Janders district, have deprived from of and low-cost irrigation.
Targeting shrines and stealing antiquities
As part of the policy of systematic demographic change and the targeting of the monuments and sanctuaries of the Afrin region, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are still continuing to steal the contents of the Islamic, Yazidi and al-Alawite sites and to tamper with their graves, even stealing the contents of some mosques from solar panels, electric power batteries, speakers, carpets, the matyrs garves were deliberatly being vandalismed in (Sido Shrine in Kafr Safra, Rafiq in Metina, Avista in Kafrshil) ,and the demolition of tombstones written in Kurdish language, such as the tomb of the martyr Bashir Mohammed in Janders area ,and the tomb of Mrs. Soliya Abdo Mustafa in Mamala village in Rajo district, and the tomb of Mrs. Zaloukh Khalil Ibrahim in Qwart Qalak in Shia district.
Stealing of property and olive harvest for civilians
The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are still continuing to steal and seize civilian property, particularly the olive crop. According to the new information from Afrin canton the Turkish occupation army mercenaries stole the fruits of the olive crop for more than 3,000 trees in Mamala village in Mobabta district, including about a thousand trees belonging to the citizen Ahmed Mohammed Oso, the rest of the people of the family Jafar, in addition to stealing the fruits of 4,500 trees on the main road of in Afrin and Janders belonging to the citizen Bashir Mamo.
On the other hand, the mercenary gangs have uprooted and stolen dozens of wooden poles of the landline network in Katakh-Badina plains, as well as the wooden roof of the railway station in Katakh. This station, which is considerd a historical landmark, was built by a German company on the extension of the East Railway in 1912.
