Transfer of Hamid Nouri criminal court to Albania

Hamid Nouri's trial transferred to Albania to hear MEK witnesses. Another victory of the great resistance of Iran makes us proud. Greetings to the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran and the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

In the 33rd session of the court, Reza Fallahi testified against Hamid Nouri

The 33rd session of the trial of Hamid Nouri, who is accused of crimes against humanity for participating in the massacre of political prisoners in 1967, was held on Tuesday, November 25. At the beginning of the hearing, the presiding judge announced that the trial of Hamid Nouri's crimes would be transferred to Albania for two weeks to hear the testimony of the Mojahedin registered as a plaintiff in Ashraf 3. The presiding judge noted that on June 16, 2021, through the Swedish Ministry of Justice, we requested legal assistance from the Albanian judiciary, which was approved by the Albanian government and the judiciary.

According to a Swedish court ruling, a panel of judges, prosecutors and lawyers based in Albania will be in the country in the two weeks in question. Defendant Hamid Nouri and one of his lawyers will be in the same courtroom in Sweden.

The transfer of Hamid Nouri's trial from Sweden to Albania to hear the testimony of the Mojahedin is a great victory for the Iranian opposition and reflects the high weight of MEK members in the testimony of this court.

The martyrdom of Reza Fallahi, one of the witnesses of the massacre

Reza Fallahi was held in Iranian government prisons for ten years. He is one of the witnesses of the 67 massacre in Gohardasht prison.

Reza Fallahi said about preparing the ground for the massacre of 1967: "When we were transferred to Gohardasht prison, a new phase had begun, which led to the year 1967 and the massacre." In Gohardasht prison, all the prison guards tried to take the facilities away from us step by step.

Reza Fallahi added: On August 27, 1967, a number of our comrades were released from prison. Mehran Hoveida and Ahmad Gorji were severely tortured a few hours later when they were returned. They were hit with rebar so that the rebar could be seen on their backs. Later, they were among the first people to be executed and were martyred during the massacre on August 29th. Some of those executed were brought from outside the prison

Reza Fallahi added in his testimony: On August 28 and 29, when the massacre began, I saw men and women wearing ordinary clothes and shoes. While we prisoners were all slippers on our feet. These people were transported to Hosseinieh blindfolded. It was obvious

These people were brought to Gohardasht from outside the prison for execution.

Reza Fallahi testified that during the Nasserian massacre, all the guards in prison were involved in the execution and involved all of them in this crime.

Prisoners who went to their deaths with laughter and jokes

Reza Fallahi added about his observations in the corridor of death and the death squad: In the corridor of death, I met prisoners who, while realizing that they were to be executed, were talking and joking with a very high spirit. They mocked both our deaths and our strongholds, including Amir Saeedi and Behzad Fatah Zanjani, who were executed during the massacre.

Reza Fallahi added: "After facing the death squad, we were transferred to a closed ward." After a day or two, Mohammad Farmani was one of our classmates, whom I knew well. He called the guard who was there and said to him, "I made a mistake in writing the hypocrites. "I am a supporter of the Mojahedin Khalq Organization and I want the court to know this." [Hamid Nouri Court; None of the massacred women spoke!]

He then turned to us and said hello to Maryam and Massoud Rajavi. He left and never returned. I later learned through his family that he had been executed. They gave a sack and leftovers to his family.

Simultaneously with the trial of Hamid Nouri, a group of pro-Iranian Iranians gathered in front of the court holding placards and photos of those executed. They chanted slogans calling for the Iranian government to be tried and held accountable.
