Dozens of inmates in the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison have been diagnosed with coronary heart disease, and the condition of inmates in this ward has been described as critical due to the widespread prevalence of emicron and the lack of adequate medical services.


According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, dozens of inmates in the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison have been infected with coronary arteries, and these prisoners have been deprived of medical services.


According to the report, the family of one of the prisoners confirmed the news, saying: "A few days ago, the omicron virus spread in the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison through two prisoners who had returned from leave and contracted coronary heart disease."


The source further stated that the control of the virus is in a critical situation due to its widespread method in this section, the lack of proper medical services and the negligence of the prison authorities.


omong these prisoners, the health condition of four political prisoners named Galaleh Moradi, Senour Khalifani, Senour Tamara and Somayeh Qureshi has been reported to be unsatisfactory.


The number of prisoners in this ward is about 150, and the infected prisoners are still being held in this ward along with other prisoners.


In the past few days, two detainees are said to have been transferred to an out-of-prison hospital due to deteriorating health and then returned to the women's quarantine ward.
