When I say I’m from Kurdistan, I’m told “it’s not a country.”
It’s like she saw a ghost. Imagine being this open and comfortable with hating others. What are your thoughts here? Watch the full video on my YT now.But if I said the same about Palestine, people would be angry.
The truth? Neither Kurdistan nor Palestine were modern nation-states.
Both existed as historic regions long before today’s borders.
Palestine has never had more historical recognition than Kurdistan.
Kurdistan existed as recognised regions and eyalets under the Ottoman Empire, appears on historical maps long before that — and today has autonomous and semi-autonomous regions, something Palestine does not.
So why is one identity respected — and the other dismissed?

If you can’t understand a historical comparison used to highlight a double standard, that isn’t an attack. It’s basic critical thinking. Pointing out similarities does not equal disrespect.
Both Kurdistan and Palestine have deep historical presence. Neither is recognised as a modern nation state today, yet only Kurdish identity is casually dismissed.
The fact this even needs explaining, despite it being clear in the video, says more about selective outrage and victim mentality than anything I said. The double standards are unfortunately in the majority, in many cases I see this way of thinking. Is it a case of wanting to be the only victims? Is it because it’s fine to be against Jews but not others? Is it general hate against Kurds? - this is why I stick to my cause.
