3 brutally tortured Baluch political prisoners were hanged at dawn in Zahedan Prison, SE #Iran. The 2 on the right are Hassan Dehvari & Elias Qalandarzehi, both fathers, who were hanged because their families are members of dissident groups. Omid Mahmoudzehi was also hanged today

The Sistan and Baluchestan judiciary announced that the death sentences of two Baluch citizens had been carried out today, Sunday, January 5th.

Baluch human rights groups and activists say Hassan Dehvari and Elias Qalandarzehi have been charged with "collaborating with opposition groups" but were intended to "pressure their relatives".

Earlier, human rights watchdogs in Iran announced the transfer of Hassan Dehvari and Elias Qalandarzehi to quarantine to carry out the death sentence.

The Ministry of Intelligence arrested Hassan Dehvari and Elias Qalandarzehi in 2014.

"Hassan Dehvari and Elias Qalandarzehi were arrested solely for pressuring their relatives who are members of the Jaish al-Adl and are working against the central government of Iran," the website of the Human Rights Activists Group (HRANA) quoted a source close to the defendants' families as saying
