The Human Rights Organization Hengav has informed about the death of Mehran Akrami, one of the arrestees of nationwide protests in Saqqez, and reported that this young man from Takab city was killed under torture by islamic force. iranian regime has committed for crimes against humanity in kurdistan.
According to this report, Mehran Akrami died in Saqqez prison on Tuesday 23 March 1402, and his body was buried in Takab on Thursday last week amid strict security measures.
Mehran Akrami was arrested on Saturday, November 21, 1401, during the "Women, Life, Freedom" protests, and since then he has been indeterminately imprisoned in the detention center of the Saqqez Intelligence Department.
Hengav quoted a source close to the Akrami family as saying that on Thursday last week, the Saqqez Intelligence Department contacted the family saying that their child had died and to hand over the body. They were told that the body is in "Imam Khomeini" hospital.
According to this source, Akrami's family found out after going to the hospital that Mehran's body was taken to the forensic doctor for an autopsy and the authorities made handing over the body conditional on the signature of a paper by Mehran's father, which stated that the results of the autopsy would be given in a year. They will be delivered.
In the description of the events leading to the death of Mehran Akrami, Ha-Ngao wrote that last week, Mehran Akrami was severely beaten and tortured in the detention center of the Saqqez Intelligence Department and was transferred to Imam Khomeini Hospital due to the sudden failure of both kidneys.
Akrami's family has announced that they visited their son on Tuesday and two security agents were stationed in his room and tied both of his hands and one of his legs to the bed.
