A Shia jurist educated in Syria and the Qom Seminary - and the Saudi human rights activist - was arrested in 2012 in the wake of protests by Shiites in Saudi Arabia and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 the Criminal Court for crimes against national security and war, to "death by sword and crucifixion in public," convicted and was executed on January 2, 2016
