The Change Movement (Gorran) opposition political party in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region refused to participate in a meeting with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani and other political parties to discuss the region’s issues.


The Change Movement (Gorran) opposition political party in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region refused to participate in a meeting with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani and other political parties to discuss the region’s issues.
Gorran spokesperson Shorsh Haji told that the party will not participate in any meetings until the Kurdistan Regional Government institutions are reactivated.
“We will not participate in the meeting of Barzani with other political parties,” Haji said on Monday. “We won’t take part in any other meetings until the legislative institutions are activated.”
