According to verified reports, Narges Mohammadi was violently arrested earlier today by security forces during the seventh-day memorial ceremony for Khosrow Alikordi, a lawyer who was recently found dead under suspicious circumstances in his office.

Families of Sepideh Qolian, Pouran Nazemi, Hasti Amiri, and Aliyeh Motalebzadeh have confirmed their arrests. Reports also indicate that Asadollah Fakhimi, Akbar Amini, Hasan Bagherinia, and Abolfazl Abri were detained alongside Narges Mohammadi.

Marziyeh Adinezadeh, sister of Abolfazl Adinezadeh—one of the victims killed during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising—has announced that their father, Ali Adinezadeh, was arrested by plainclothes agents after leaving Ghadir Babaali Mosque in Mashhad.

The Narges Mohammadi Foundation calls for the immediate and unconditional release of all detainees. These individuals were present solely to pay their respects and express solidarity at a memorial ceremony. Their arrests constitute a blatant and serious violation of fundamental freedoms and basic human rights.
