These pictures came from Mahabad, a Kurdish city in northeast Iran. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has placed sandbag barriers in all intersections in Mahabad. IRGC is afraid of people's reaction against the regime, because of IRGC's role in controlling Kirkuk and disputed territories in Iraq.
