I asked a reliable source in KRG what does the statement "Freeze the results of referendum conducted in the Iraqi Kurdistan" mean?

His said "This does not mean we refused the results of the referendum. We made the referendum for the independence of Kurdistan, but now to avoid war between Kurdistan and Baghdad, we removed this condition of the referendum in order to have dialogue with Baghdad. The result of the referendum will be postponed for the best timing in the future. To accept this clause, we even had pressure from outside."
