PMF spokesperson refutes claims of Mohandes' death
Ahmed Asadi, PMF spokesperson, denied that Abu Mahdi Mohandes, the commander of PMF, was killed in the battle in the northeast Iraq, close to Faysh Khabu. Asadi states he that Mohandes is alive. Other sources claim he is injured. Abu Mahdi Mohandes is on the U.S. black list of terrorists. He is an old friend of General Qassem Soleimani, commander of Iranian Quds forces. Mohandes has an Iranian wife.
