Following the shooting and murder of a young woman in the Agha Seyyed Morteza cemetery in Lahijan, the investigation of this case was placed on the special police agenda, and the initial investigation revealed the role of family dispute in its occurrence. The police's technical and supplementary investigations also revealed new aspects of this case. The brother, motivated by the desire to take over the family inheritance, fled the scene by using a firearm and prior planning, and with the cooperation of several of his accomplices, by staging a scene and then shooting and killing his sister. In this regard, yesterday, with the information and clues at hand, the police arrested the people involved in this crime, including the driver of the car and 3 others who were in various ways complicit with the killer. The Colt weapon used in the murder, along with the remaining cartridges, were also discovered from their hideout.
Currently, the main suspect in the case, the victim's brother, is on the run, and the officers' round-the-clock efforts to arrest him, based on the documents and confessions of his accomplices, are on the police's agenda.
By court order, the picture of the murderer's fugitive brother has been released, and the police have asked for the public's help in identifying and arresting him.
