More than two weeks have passed since the arrest of Pejman Hajizadeh, a Kurdish citizen from Bukan, and his family remains completely unaware of his condition and fate.

 

According to reports, on the evening of May 12, 2021, intelligence forces raided his home in Bukan without a warrant and arrested him. Some of his personal belongings were also confiscated by security forces.

Pejman Hajizadeh, a father of two and a cabinetmaker, was transferred to an intelligence detention center in Urmia after his arrest.

He has had only one brief contact with his family since his arrest, and his family’s follow-ups have so far remained unanswered.
