In response to the recent Israeli attacks on Quneitra and Daraa, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa warned Tel Aviv that although they may start a war, they can never determine how it will end. He emphasized that Israel's goal is to divide Syria and stop its reconstruction, but the Syrians will never allow their country to become a battlefield for foreign conspiracies. Al-Sharaa also announced that the most important political and diplomatic support for Syria at this time is provided by Turkey; Ankara called the Israeli attacks a clear violation of Syrian sovereignty, and Erdogan emphasized Turkey's firm support for Syria's territorial integrity.
