According to a report received by #Hirkani,_Niloufar Fotohi, a Gilak woman from Fouman and mother of an 11-year-old child, was murdered about 5 days ago following an argument with a man named “Mujtaba” who had been in a relationship with her for years with the promise of marriage.

An informed source informed Hirkani that, despite being married, Mojtaba had promised Niloufar, who was single, to marry and separate from her husband. After years of unfulfilled promises, Mojtaba decided to break off the relationship, which led to a conflict between them.

According to available information, they met at the intersection of the Gasht Canal in Fouman, and during the argument, Mojtaba fatally hit Niloufar in the head. Then, he left her body in the canal and left the place. The woman's lifeless body was discovered and her identity was identified after some time. It is said that the accused is in custody and the judicial process is ongoing.
