President Trump put the Iranian regime on notice with one of his most harsh warnings to date, saying any attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz would trigger a direct U.S. military response.

 

In fact, this war was a big mistake by the leaders of the Islamic Republic. They failed to adopt a correct policy and think about their own people, rather than Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Yemen.

This has never been raised in any of our negotiations or meetings.
But it is an interesting idea, because now I too am asking the mullahs to pay compensation to all the people they have killed or seriously injured with their roadside mines and in the numerous conflicts they have been known to have fought.
This includes the families of the victims of the USS Cole incident and the thousands of others who have been killed in the conflicts.
In addition, compensation must be paid to the families of the hundreds of thousands of innocent protesters that the mullahs have killed over the past 50 years, while 52,000 have been killed in the past 5 months.
I have instructed my representatives to make this demand a firm statement in all future negotiations, without exception.
