"My client was also tried in the Revolutionary Court on other charges and sentenced to eight years in prison, which he did not object to, and he surrendered to this verdict," he said. "Therefore, the sentence was reduced, which, as a rule, can lead to parole after a period of imprisonment."

He added: "Currently, our only serious problem in this case is the issue of the death sentence of the client, which unfortunately the Supreme Court in 8 lines and only stating that" the lawyer's protest was not enough to lead to a violation of the sentence. " Has upheld the verdict. "In any case, we will resume the trial."

Hrana had previously announced the death sentence by Branch 1 of the Central Province Criminal Court for the two main defendants in the case, Seyyed Sadrullah Fazeli Zare and Yousef Mehrad, on charges of "sab al-Nabi." This sentence was announced to these citizens in Arak prison on May 23rd. Also, the court session of another part of Yousef Mehrad's case of propaganda against the regime, forming a group, insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic and insulting the leader, who according to his lawyer was sentenced to 8 years in prison, was held on 3 June this year in the branch. An Arak Public and Revolutionary Court has been held.

Yousef Mehrad was arrested by security forces at his home in Ardabil in June and eventually transferred to Arak Prison. He is the father of 3 young children.

The religious regime of Iran is one of the strictest governments in the world in recent centuries, in the field of opposing beliefs and ideas. In this respect, he can only be compared to ISIS.
