80% of the world's executions took place in Iran by the Iranian religious fascist regime

AI: Iran alone accounts for half of all executions in the world

The Islamic Republic of Iran executes more people per capita than any other country in the world

Amnesty International's annual report on executions worldwide 2020, published on Wednesday 1 May, shows that the number of executions last year decreased by 26% compared to the previous year.

But the Islamic Republic of Iran with 246 executions alone accounts for half of all executions in the world.

194 of those executed were related to the execution of the sentence of "retaliation" in murder cases, and 23 were related to drug crimes, and others were accused of "rape", "prostitution", "moharebeh" (look at god) and "corruption on earth" "They have been executed.

Amnesty says Iranian authorities are increasingly using the death penalty as a "weapon of political repression" against dissidents, protesters and members of ethnic minority groups.

They also executed three people for crimes that occurred when they were under 18, in violation of international humanitarian law.
