38 years ago on a day like this Ayatollah Khomeini the former persian dictator issued a Fetwa (Religious order)as Jihad (holy conflict)against the Kurdish people of eastern Kurdistan which resulted in assassination of over 10k - 15k civilians and 1200 political prisoners .
For months, the Islamic Regime indiscriminately bombed Kurdish cities & villages, killing & wounding innocent civilians. And Khomeini’s ruthless campaign went mostly unnoticed as he expelled & banned international journalists.
