CIA chief in Israel for talks on Iran, regional issues | |
| The director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, arrived in Israel Thursday night and went into talks with Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon in Tel Aviv. A Kol Yisrael reporter says the two discussed the Iranian nuclear issues as well as other regional matters.
According to Channel 10 television, Yaalon reaffirmed during the talks that Israel "will not permit the transfer of weapons" from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Brennan's trip came two days after Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Syria crisis. www.iba.org |
