According to Hrana, the relatives of Dina Qalibaf believe that this action of the judicial and security authorities is to exert more pressure in order to deny the material that Dina Qalibaf had published in the description of the events of her arrest because of the hijab.

 

Dina Qalibaf, a journalist and student of Tehran's Beheshti University, who was supposed to be released from Evin prison on Monday, May 3rd, was sent back to the women's ward of this prison.


Dina Qalibaf was prevented from being released from Evin prison while her release letter was served and she was released from prison. According to the news agency of the group of human rights activists in Iran (Harana), Dina Qalibaf was returned to the women's ward of Evin prison an hour ago despite her release letter. At the same time, the Judiciary Media Center claimed that the allegation of rape against Dina Qalibaf was "false" and announced the filing of a new case against her in this regard.

Dina Qalibaf 2024 April 15, Monday, reported that the security officers violently detained her for several hours due to optional covering. The next day, Tuesday, April 28, she was arrested in Tehran and transferred to the women's ward of Evin prison on Sunday, May 2.


Narges Mohammadi, a human rights activist who is a prisoner in Evin prison, presented her account of seeing Dina Qalibaf as "a person with a bruised skin and narrating sexual abuse" in an audio message.

Dina Qalibaf, a political science undergraduate student of Beheshti University, was summoned to the disciplinary committee last year after participating in the gathering of students of this university, which took place in protest against the execution of the accused in Isfahan House. He has previously collaborated with news agencies inside Iran such as ISNA and Ekhtaz Online.
