Former Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spokesman Farhad Shami has posted a message on his X account about the policies of US President Barack Obama's special envoy to Syria.

Farhad Shami wrote: Tom Barak, the mastermind of the massacres of Kurds, Alawites and Druze, represents a kind of cruel diplomacy based on taxes, dubious trade and imposing orders through threats and coercion. They won’t stay hidden behind closed doors forever.

"The day will come when the truth about his behind-the-scenes dealings, the nature of his obscure agreements and his role in fueling the conflict and bloodshed in Syria will be revealed," he said.
