Italy commends Iraq's Kurdistan fight against ISIL terror-.

RBIL, Aug 9 (KUNA) -- Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini said 
Saturday that her country lauded the efforts of the Iraqi Kurdistan 
authority against the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL).


A statement by the Kurdistan Presidency said that Mogherini's sentiments were conveyed to President Masoud Barzani via phone.
During
the phone conversation, the minister said that Italy will support 
Kurdistan in its fight against terror. She also affirmed that her 
country was willing to extend relations with Kurdistan on all possible 
domains.
Barzani thanked the Italian minister for her statement, 
stressing that Kurdistan will continue to defend itself against ISIL 
elements in the country. (end)
