29 ISIS gangs killed in Kobanê.

KOBANÊ - YPG (People's Protection Units) Press Centre has reported in a written statement that the ISIS attacks on Kobanê continued on the 18th day, and that the gangs have been prevented from entering the town.

 

YPG Press Centre stated that the ISIS gangs whose assault forces have been weakened are continuing to attack with the tanks, heavy weaponry, artillery and reinforcements they dispatch from their bases at different locations in Syria.

 

The statement pointed out that the YPG forces and the local people are continuing to resist with a great will and not allowing the gangs, that are attacking from the east, west and south of Kobanê, to enter the town.

 

YPG said the advance of the gangs has been halted in the Newroz area to the south of Kobanê where clashes intensified yesterday, reporting that 29 gang members were killed and three vehicles belonging to them were destroyed in the last 24 hours of fierce clashes.

 

 

The statement added that violent clashes that erupted on the southern, eastern and western fronts early today are continuing.
