Women in Qamishlo provided with self-defense training


Women in the Qamishlo city of Rojava have started to receive weapon training with an aim to improve self-defense.

The weapon training, provided by YPJ (Women's Protection Units) fighters at the demand of local people, will last two days during which women will also receive shooting training.
Women in the city said they have demanded to receive military training in order to be able to protect both themselves and their areas in face of probable unfavorable circumstances.
