Turkey’s accusations against Muslim not reciprocated
The Turkish state’s accusations against former PYD Co-chair Saleh Muslim were not reciprocated by the Czechia’s judiciary. Muslim was released without any conditions.
Former PYD Co-chair Saleh Muslim who had been taken into custody in Prague this weekend on Turkey’s demand faced a judge today.The hearing was held in the Prague Municipal Court and Muslim was released. Turkey’s accusations with no legal base were not reciprocated by the court.Judge Jaroslav Pytloun didn’t comment on the verdict. Sources close to the case say the court didn’t pose any conditions and ruled that Muslim can move freely within the EU boundaries.But the legal procedures will continue due to Turkey’s demand for extradition.Kurds and their allies have been voicing their objections throughout Europe since Muslim was taken into custody.Protests were held in Prague and dozens of parliamentarians and elected officials demanded Muslim be released immediately.
