Following the pressure exerted on maritime and air routes, a more critical question has now arisen:

Is it time for a blockade of Iran’s land routes?

 

A land blockade does not necessarily mean the physical closure of borders;
The US could apply pressure on banks, shipping companies, insurers, and Iran’s trading partners to make the cross-border movement of goods more difficult and costly.

In such a scenario, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, and Iran’s northern routes would gain increased importance.

If the pressure extends to these routes as well, the impact would not be limited to exports;

The cost of importing goods and raw materials could also rise.

In other words, while the borders might remain open,

Trade across them would no longer flow as easily as it did before—or even during previous periods of sanctions.

Much like what occurred in Iraq between 1991 and 2003.

 Without providing an explanation, the Pentagon has increased the count of U.S. troops wounded during the conflict with Iran by 37, bringing the total number of wounded since the hostilities began to 861.

According to the Pentagon's public database, 29 Navy sailors and eight Marines have been added to the list of wounded personnel. The *Washington Post* reported that this statistical adjustment was recorded this week in the Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS).

This system tracks data on U.S. troops killed or wounded in conflicts and military operations overseas.

The U.S. Department of Defense has not yet released any explanation regarding the reason for adding these 37 individuals, nor the timing, location, or circumstances of their injuries.

Meanwhile, Israeli military sources have claimed that the 29 Navy sailors and eight Marines were wounded during an attack on a U.S. warship. According to these claims, the targeted vessel was likely an *Arleigh Burke*-class guided-missile destroyer.

These sources further alleged that the U.S. ship was struck by a precision-guided ballistic missile fired by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

According to the Israeli military sources, the IRGC utilized Chinese assistance to enhance the accuracy of its anti-ship ballistic missiles, equipping them with advanced TV/IR (television/infrared) sensors to precisely target U.S. naval vessels.

Separately, unofficial sources have attributed this attack to the IRGC Navy's test of the "Qasem Basir" anti-ship ballistic missile, which took place in early September. The range of this missile is reported to be approximately 1,200 kilometers, enabling it to cover a large portion of the Arabian Sea.

However, data available in the Pentagon's public database does not confirm a link between the 37 newly added personnel and this incident; the cause, location, and circumstances of their injuries are not specified in the database.

بەڵام ڕەنگە بازرگانی بە ئاسانی وەک پێشوو نەیپەڕێتەوە، تەنانەت لە کاتی سزاکانیشدا.

وەک ئەوەی لە نێوان ساڵانی ١٩٩١ بۆ ٢٠٠٣ لە عێراق ڕوویدا.

بەبێ ئەوەی ڕوونکردنەوەیەک بدات، پنتاگۆن ژمارەی بریندارەکانی ئەمریکای لە کاتی شەڕ لەگەڵ ئێران بە ڕێژەی ٣٧ سەرباز زیاد کردووە و کۆی ژمارەی بریندارەکان لە سەرەتای دەستپێکردنی شەڕەکانەوە گەیشتووەتە ٨٦١ کەس.

وەزارەتی بەرگری ئەمریکا تا ئێستا هیچ ڕوونکردنەوەیەکی سەبارەت بە هۆکاری زیادکردنی ئەم ٣٧ کەسە و هەروەها کاتی برینداربوونیان و شوێن و بارودۆخی برینەکانیان بڵاونەکردووەتەوە.
