Hossein Ahmadi Niaz Arrested in Sanandaj.

Hussein Ahmadi Niaz, Ramin Hossein Panahi’s lawyer, was arrested after referring to the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj this morning on August 05.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network  has been informed that the Kurdish lawyer was arrested at Sanandaj Revolutionary Court while enquiring about the dossier of his client ( Ramin Hossein Panahi, a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death) and the summons filed at the Public Prosecution & Revolutionary Court (Branch 4) in Sanandaj against himself.

The lawyer was also summoned by the Public Prosecution and Revolutionary Court (Branch 4) in Sanandaj on July 6, 2018, due to interviews with the media on Ramin Hussein Panahi’s case.

He is also the lawyer of Shin Abad girls and a number of other political prisoners such as Osman Mustafa Pour and Hedayat Abdollah Poor, a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death in Orumiyeh. So far There is no information available on either the arresting authority or his whereabouts.

It should be noted that this lawyer’s son known as Zanyar Ahmadi Niaz was sentenced to 8 years in prison on June 23, 2018 by Judge Moghiseh (the Revolutionary Court, Branch 28) on the charge of of action against national security by participating at the protests rally last January.
