Regime carried out more than 55 air strike on southern countryside of Idlib
The warplanes and helicopters of the Syrian regime continue to launch raids on the countryside of Idlib intensively and carried out more than 55 air strikes in an unprecedented escalation for weeks on Idlib, coinciding with the outbreak of clashes in the southeast of the province.

The southern province of Idlib today witnessed the flight of swarms of warplanes and helicopters of the Syrian regime, which began intensive bombing of areas in the southern countryside of the province, according to monitoring the Syrian Observatory that the number of strikes carried out by helicopters reached more than 40 air strikes, and warplanes carried out more than 14 raids targeting al-Sekik and its outskirts and al-Temangha town and its surroundings.
The Syrian Observatory also monitored the displacement of the people of the two regions due to the intensive strikes and the violent explosions in the southern countryside of Idlib. The attack resulted in three consecutive helicopters dropping several barrels of explosives on areas in al-Temangha in the southern sector of Idlib. And the destruction of property of citizens a number of dead and wounded.
In the wake of these intensive attacks, observers expected that these strikes would be on the southern sector of the Idlib countryside and the return of aerial bombardment to the area, as a prelude to a military operation looming by the regime forces on Idlib, after conducting a military operation a few months ago and taking control of dozens of villages and towns in the southern sector with the support of the Russian forces, arrived at the eastern countryside of Idlib and Abu al-Duhuor military airport, before the deployment of Turkish troops in different parts of Idlib and the northern Hama and areas connected to the slopes of Lattakia mountains.
