45-year-old terror suspect arrested in Malmö.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in Malmö District Court on suspicion of having planned a terrorist crime abroad, reports SVT Skåne.

Kvällposten was the first to report that the man was arrested on Wednesday.

Another man connected to the same incident was arrested in Stockholm on Friday.

- The person, who is actually a resident of the Gothenburg area, was arrested on Tuesday night and was then arrested in his absence. He was arrested when he landed at Arlanda. Then this man in Skåne was arrested the next day. This is connected, says prosecutor Hans-Jörgen Hanström to SVT.

According to Hanström, the criminal suspicions concern plans for an act abroad - not in Sweden.
