Ahrar Sinjar said Turkey was waiting for the attacks to continue
A Turkish military base in Ba'ashiqa, Mosul, was targeted by drones. The Ahrar Sinjar group claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was a reaction to Turkish military aggression.
The attack on the Zelikan military base is said to have been carried out by at least two suicide bombers, killing two Turkish soldiers and a local contractor.
"We warned the Turkish occupiers about the continuation of repeated aggressions against Iraq and its cities, in response to the recent Turkish aggression on the outskirts of Kirkuk and Duhok in the Kurdistan Region," the Ahrar Sinjar group said in a statement.
A spokesman for the group said there would be more attacks if Turkey did not end its military aggression.
