Continuation of the indecision of the arrested cultural figures on the eve of Teacher's Day

Following the increase in pressure from security and intelligence agencies against union activists, especially educators, a number of teachers arrested on the eve of Teacher's Day are still in the hands of the Islamic Republic's repressors.

According to the Coordinating Council of Iranian Cultural Associations, the names of teachers and union activists who are still in custody are as follows: Massoud Nikkhah and Eskandar Lotfi (Marivan), Siavash Rezaeian (Khorramabad), Latif Rozikhah (Jolfa), Hossein Salami (Mazandaran) ), Ebrahim Mahmoudi (Aligudarz), Mansoureh Erfanian and Hadi Sadeghzadeh (Mashhad), Ali Akbar Baghani, Rasoul Badaghi, Mohammad Habibi and Jafar Ebrahimi (Tehran Province), Mahmoud Malaki, Mohsen Omrani, Dr. Amanifar and Asghar Hajib (Bushehr).

The arbitrary and indiscriminate detention of teachers and cultural activists who only want their legitimate demands to be met is strongly condemned, and these freedom-loving teachers must be released as soon as possible.
