Barbass Bass, Speaker of the German Bundestag, arrived in Kiev to commemorate World War II victims and hold political talks. He is the highest-ranking German official to enter Ukraine since Russia's military invasion.

Bass called his invitation to Ukraine on this day as the representative of the country that caused World War II, "a big step" to preserve European values ​​and called for an immediate end to Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine.


Barbell's visit to Ukraine has attracted media attention because he is the highest-ranking German official to enter Ukraine after the Russian military invasion.
