Reporters Without Borders, in conjunction with World Press Freedom Day, in its latest annual report on press freedom in 2022, ranked Iran under the rule of the Islamic Republic 178th out of 180 countries in the world!

According to the report, Iran, under the rule of the mullahs, has overtaken China and Cuba in suppressing and censoring the press and media activists, alongside North Korea and Eritrea.
