Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia has no problems with Finland and Sweden and that their accession to NATO does not pose a threat, but demands reprisals.

In a speech during his participation in the "Collective Security Treaty Organization" summit in Moscow on Monday, the Russian president added that NATO has deviated from its mission in its geographical framework and is trying in a bad way to influence other regions.

And he added in his speech: "Regarding (NATO) expansion, including through the new members of the alliance, Finland and Sweden: Russia has no problems with these countries, and that means that expansion through these countries does not create a direct threat to Russia, but the expansion of structures The military infrastructure in these areas will certainly lead to reprisals, based on the threats that will arise for us.

وأضاف في كلمته: "فيما يتعلق بالتوسع (الناتو)، بما في ذلك من خلال الأعضاء الجدد في الحلف، فنلندا والسويد: ليس لدى روسيا مشاكل مع هذه الدول، وهذا يعني أن التوسع من خلال هذه الدول لا يخلق تهديدا مباشرا لروسيا،  لكن توسيع البنى التحتية العسكرية في هذه المناطق،  سيؤدي بالتأكيد إلى إجراءات جوابية، وذلك بناء على التهديدات التي ستنشأ لنا".
