Sirvan was arrested on January 9, 2026 [Dey 19, 1404], amidst popular protests in the Vavan area; he now faces an irreversible sentence on charges of *moharebeh* (waging war against God). Two other Kurdish prisoners from Kermanshah—Khosrow Mohammadinia and Masoud Toshmalani—have also been sentenced to death in the same case.

The judicial authorities must clarify the conditions under which these three prisoners were tried, whether they had access to a lawyer of their choice, the evidence supporting the *moharebeh* charge, and the current status of the case.
