according to current psychiatric diagnostic standards.

Misogyny generally refers to prejudice, contempt, hostility, or hatred toward women. It is not itself classified as a mental illness or a diagnosis in the DSM-5-TR or ICD-11.

A person who expresses misogynistic beliefs could have a mental-health condition, but misogyny by itself does not establish that someone has one. It can arise from social, cultural, ideological, or learned factors without being a psychiatric disorder.
