People's Defence Forces Press Centre HPG-BIM has issued a statement giving details of clashes between HPG guerrillas and ISIS gangs in Sinjar region of South Kurdistan.

HPG-BIM reported that 9 gang members were killed and two dozers belonging to them were destroyed in the Sinjar region since yesterday.

According to the statement, a sabotage action by HPG guerrillas targeted the gangs deployed between the villages of Xanesor and Behrevan yesterday evening. 4 members of the gangs were killed here.

Five other members of the gangs were killed in clashes that have erupted in the villages of Cudalê, Gabarê and Kızılkent today, HPG-BIM said, and noted that clashes are continuing in some areas.

On the other hand, two dozers belonging to ISIS gangs were destroyed by the guerrillas in the Kızılkent region which has recently been abandoned by the gangs after being used as a base for some time.
