YPJ Commander: We will turn Kobanê to hell for ISIS

Violent clashes going on at three fronts of Kobanê since yesterday evening have reached the borders of the town which is struggling against a new wave of intense attacks by ISIS gangs for 17 days.

Meryem Kobanê, one of the YPG/YPJ Kobanê Commanders, who assessed the final situation in Kobanê for ANF, vowed to "resist in every inch of Kobanê to the end and turn Kobanê to hell for ISIS”.

Meryem Kobanê emphasised that fighters of the YPG/YPJ are putting a brave resistance against the gangs that are attacking with all kinds of heavy weaponry.

Remarking that fierce clashes on the eastern front continued intensely in the region of Kaniya Kurda, the YPJ Commander said gangs have advanced till the check point of the Kobanê Asayesh (public security) on the western front, adding that violent clashes are continuing to take place in the southern side as well.

Commenting on the aerial operations by international coalition powers, Meryem Kobanê said; "They didn't hit any major target. They just targeted some locations that have no influence on the fighting."

The YPJ Commander said the probability of an urban warfare was at the highest level at the moment after the most recent developments since last night, adding; "We have taken all measures already. We are going to resist in every inch of Kobanê."

Calling for support from all the Kurdish people and the world public opinion, Meryem Kobanê added; "We are going to resist to the end. We are not demoralised nor hopeless, and we will not be. We will turn Kobanê to hell for ISIS."
