Internal Security in Manbij reveals details of attack on checkpoint The Internal Security Forces in the city of Manbij and its rural areas revealed on its official website details of a "terrorist attack" targeting al-Shuweiha al-Khaznawi checkpoint affiliated to the forces on the outskirts of Manbij city on Monday.

The Media Office of the Internal Security Forces in Manbij said that one of the armed gangs attacked at 12:30 midnight al-Shuweiha checkpoint of the Internal Security Forces which is located on the outskirts of the city."

In detail, the Media Office said that the attack resulted in the martyrdom of 4 members of the Internal Security Forces while doing their duty at the checkpoint.

According to the Media Office of the forces that the preliminary investigations of the competent security authorities show that the attack was by the using of a pistol (9/14 mm) with a silencer, resulting in the martyrdom of elements of the Internal Security Forces immediately.
