A #Kurdish citizen of dual #Iranian_Norwegian nationality named #Shahin_Mahmoudi, from #Saqqez, has been held incommunicado in the #Sanandaj Intelligence Department detention center for more than eight days after being arrested by the Iranian regime’s intelligence agency.

A #Kurdish citizen of dual #Iranian_Norwegian nationality named #Shahin_Mahmoudi, from #Saqqez, has been held incommunicado in the #Sanandaj Intelligence Department detention center for more than eight days after being arrested by the Iranian regime’s intelligence agency.

According to HRANA, he was arrested on Sunday, December 13, 2025, after being summoned by the Saqqez Intelligence Department by phone, and transferred to Sanandaj. So far, no charges have been filed against his family, and his relatives are unaware of his health status and the progress of his case.

Shahin Mahmoudi (born in 1979) is a Norwegian citizen and his name is registered in Norwegian documents as Shine Mahmoudi. He had traveled to Iran from Norway on December 27, 2025.
