U.S. Conservatives Urge Trump to Protect Kurds in Fragile Syria Ceasefire

Worth replying.
Words of a wife of an active duty US soldier.
ISIS, using heavily armed forces with armored vehicles, tanks, drones, and hundreds of suicide bombers, under the supervision of Jolani’s so-called “caliphate” and with the knowledge of Donald Trump, has launched attacks against women, children, and civilians in Kobane.

U.S. Conservatives Urge Trump to Protect Kurds in Fragile Syria Ceasefire

Prominent conservatives like Mark Levin and Lindsey Graham are pressing President Trump not to leave Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) vulnerable after a U.S.-brokered ceasefire halted a Syrian offensive in northeast Syria's Rojava region. The mid-January 2026 clashes saw Syrian forces under transitional President Ahmed al-Sharaa capture towns and oil fields, with over 1,000 fighters and 150 civilians killed before the January 18 truce that integrates SDF into the Syrian army and hands over key sites. Trump has voiced support for the Kurds' safety amid plans for a U.S. troop drawdown, but critics warn of betrayal risks from al-Sharaa and Turkey, potentially reviving ISIS threats.

Tens of thousands of people slaughtered in Iran in a few weeks, and the slaughter goes on day after day, because they want to be free, and the world takes no action against a regime that is weaker than it has ever been.  What have we become?

@LindseyGrahamSC

I pray for President Trump and his team to make the right decisions to keep America safe at this dangerous time.   History tells us the right decision is to stand by those who stand with America and sacrifice for our common cause.

 History also tells us that evil cannot be accommodated  it has to be defeated.

   I remember how sick to my stomach I felt when we abandoned our people in Benghazi. I’ll hold that against Hillary Clinton til my dying day.   Our people have to include those who would be a friend of America in the face of oppression: the protestors in Iran and the brave Kurds.

These are difficult decisions. But to abandon the Iranian people and the brave Kurds would be, in my view, Benghazi times a million.

  I am confident that President Trump, who has done a marvelous job protecting America, will make the right call. God bless President Trump and all under his command.

US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham's statement that what is happening is a "religious war that will determine the fate of the Middle East for the next thousand years" is not a slip of the tongue, but rather a direct revelation of the nature of the project that is being imposed on the region. It is not so much a prediction of the future as it is a declaration of political and strategic intent!

The message is clear and explicit, and it affects the entire Middle East: forced alignment with the Washington and Tel Aviv camp, or entering a spiral of protracted war.

The child being hailed as a hero is actually a death machine.

What are your thoughts?

All we are seeing is a flood of incitement being fed to Arab media. They are justifying the killing of Kurdish civilians, its a repeat of Oct. 7th,”
