According to a report from the Kurdistan Human Rights Association on Saturday 8 July 2017, workers in the Azar Ilam oil field located in the city of Mehran, in the form of Sarvak companies and the company for the development of water and gas, have been strike since Thursday 22 June 2017.
According to the report, the workers were initially 150, but later, 100 others who were staffed by technical and engineering offices, joined their strike and demanded their 3-month and Eiday salary, and finally, after a long strike at 56 degrees of the current Resulted in the expulsion of 150 workers on Saturday 8 July 2017.
It should be noted that the strike is a peaceful protest of a human right and has been referred to in the Charter of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but in the Islamic Republic of Iran, although it is one of the signatories of this Declaration, it has never subscribed to it. Most of the labor activists were arrested and tortured with serious accusations, and in the latter case, 17 workers from the gold mine of Agh Dareh referred to the incarnation of the workers to 100 lashes and 37 months in prison.
