Syrian politician: Turkey controlled by Russia trying to hand over Idlib to regime
The writer and the Syrian intellectual critic Ali al-Amin al-Swaid pointed to the policies revolving around Idlib saying that the Turkish occupation state is trying to hand over the province to the Syrian regime without shooting a bullet and handed it over to the terrorist base in 2015. He pointed out that the policies of demographic change in Syria are carried out by Russia and Turkey, and that the opposition's retreat reason at the regime's expense came because there is no national revolutiona.

This came during a lengthy interview conducted by ANHA agency with the writer and intellectual critic Ali al-Amin al-Swaid, noting that Turkey is trying to gain interests and that Russia is trying to restore Syrian regime as it was.
The text of the dialogue is as follows
1 – In Syria, there is demographic changing policies, and change is taking place at a high rate, where families have been transferred from the countryside of Damascus and Homs to Jarablus, al-Bab, Azaz, Afrin and Idlib, how do you see these policies, and what are its causes in your opinion?
With the development of the situation in Syria, the Syrian and Turkish regimes found a favorable opportunity for cooperation on the following bases:
First, the Syrian regime wants Turkey to pressure the Syrian opposition factions to implement its plans to hand over Idlib's province to it as he first handed it over to al-Qaeda terrorist organization. It has been proved that Turkey has the upper hand in the leadership of all terrorist factions such as Jabhit al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham and al-Sham corps and some of the so-called moderate though not so.
Second- Turkey is planning to separate the Kurds in Turkey from the Kurds in Syria with a human wall from the mercenaries families loyal to them, fearing of the development of things towards the establishment of a Kurdish state west of Kurdistan in North Syria, so Turkey accepted the task of helping the Assad regime to return the Syrians to al-Assad yard in return for the Syrian regime launching hands of Turkey in North and not to be exposed to media or to file a complaint in United Nations on the grounds under the pretext that it is a state violates the alleged Syrian national sovereignty.
2 - Idlib, Jarablus, Azaz, al-Bab and Afrin, now the hour's talk, there are talk about the start of the regime with a military campaign on Idlib, and Hashouda at al-Gab plain indicate that, how do you assess that, and what will be the case of families that left Damascus and Homs in that direction, as it is against the regime?
According to Astana agreements, three control points are being established and consolidated around Idlib governorate: eastern Iranian, then Russian in the middle, and Turkish in the west within a strip of land width of an average of 3 km.
In the first phase, Aleppo-Damascus road and Bab al-Hawa Sarakib will be opened and will be air-protected by Russian airliners, and by the terrorist Jabhit al-Nusra, the Turkish alliance.
In the second phase, Turkey will demand that all factions dissolve themselves and form a single faction under flamboyant name, and then begin to turn it into a civil and military police force in Idlib and Northern Aleppo countryside.
Note that the regime will not stop the intermittent shelling of civilians under the pretext of fighting Jabhit al-Nusra, all to support Turkey's plans to return Idlib to the regime without bullets.
The third Phase, The immigrants from southern Syria will be persuaded to go to North Syria along the border with Turkey and settle there.
The displaced, as you know, must return to their homes and city where their interests lie, the tyrant Bashar al-Assad conspired with tyrant Erdogan to implement the scheme of demographic changes as follows:
The Assad regime issued Law No. 10, under which the property of the displaced is effectively confiscated. Therefore, even if the displaced return to their cities in Damascus, they will not find their property and become displaced in their cities.
The Turkish regime prevents Arab immigrants from resorting to Arab-majority cities in North Syria, such as al-Bab city, to pressure them to move to Kurdish-dominated areas, as is happening now in Afrin and its countryside.
On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that any demographic change aimed at usurping the property of Syrian citizens is totally unacceptable and the establishment by Turkey or any other entity of the displaced Syrians in the place of the displaced Syrian Kurds is a crime in violation of international laws, just like the resettlement of foreigners from the Shiite community, the place of the Syrian displaced from al-Gouta areas and the countryside of Damascus.
3. What is the reason for the decline of the opposition factions at the expense of the regime in Damascus and Homs areas, while in 2014 it controlled half of Damascus and large areas of Homs?
All the moderate armed factions have failed because of the absence of a clear national revolutionary goal for the armed struggle for it, and because there is no Syrian national project loyal to the revolutionary Syria, under which a Syrian national political institution operates away from the agendas of neighboring and distant states. The main reason for the failure is the lack of trust among the people.
Under the circumstances I have mentioned, no faction can stand up even if it is a huge army.
4 - In Adlib in particular, there are dozens of factions, including terrorist, such as Jabhit al- Nusra, there are assassinations, who is responsible of these problems that revolve there, at a time when Turkey says it will start a military campaign against Jabhit  al-Nusra in Adlib, in your opinion what will be the fate of this province?
Let's consider some facts before answering this question, al-Qaeda under the name of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham which is dominating whole of Idlib and some of Aleppo's countryside and some of the villages of Hama.
All other factions considered to be moderate in form, which follow the will of terrorist Jabhit al-Nusra, are guaranteed an ammunition tank and a human resource for Jabhit al-Nusra used at will.
All these factions, which are said to be "Free Army," are not free and their orders come from the actual al-Qaeda organization of the region.
As for the so-called Syrian Liberation Front is a faction trying to prove its presence on the ground to collect some of the gains coming as a result of Turkey's use of them as tools to control security and protect roads
Therefore, we witness these battles between the Syrian Liberation Front and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. The Syrian Liberation Organization considers al-Nusra Front too weak to share any financial gains. I would like to emphasize the financial gains. They will go to the princes' accounts in banks outside the region where they will be credited when their missions are completed, while the elements will be killed and boast of declaring victory over terrorism by the regime rather than Turkey.
Turkey will not fight Jabhit al-Nusra. All Turkey is doing in the north is being carried out with heavy cooperation between Turkey and Jabhit al-Nusra .The murderer of his uncle, Yusuf al-Hajar, who was presented by Qatar's Al-Jazeera TV, has recently stated that he is the political official of the organization, that Turkey is an ally of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and their cooperation is in full swing.
5 - How do you see the Turkish interventions in Syria, especially the northwestern corner, and the latest Afrin, and in light of the internal problems experienced? These interventions come as a result of what? Turkey is on the doorstep of Aleppo as a point of control in al-Rashidin area, what are the schemes that Turkey and Russia are devising? And what is the Iranian role in them? According to the positions that appear, Iran is not satisfied with what is happening, how do you evaluate this?
Russian and Turkish interventions in the northwestern corner are part of the agreement I spoke about between the regime and Turkey in response to the first questions, but something has to be clarified here.
It is certain that Russia does not want the Iranian role to expand and it does not mind removing Iran from the region. The removal of Iran from the region does not mean the expulsion of the Shiite militias from Syria because these militias are mercenaries, and those who follow them are not driven by the sectarian slogans they raise
6 - Do you think that Russia, Turkey and Iran will continue to conclude agreements on this region, apart from America, is Turkey's invasion and occupation of the region in favor of America or Russia and Iran? Or do you have another opinion in this regard?
Iran's future in the region began to collapse, if it did not start to fall. Russia is not prepared to defend Iran, and perhaps there is a common will between Russia and America to extricate it with ostensibly American pressure and Russian silence. Turkey has a limited role and seeks to achieve its interests in the demographic change I mentioned earlier. Here I say that Turkey has become destitute, after Erdogan sold himself to Russia in protection of his regime.
7. Where is Syria heading? Why did the Syrian crisis deepen? Why is there no solution to this crisis?
It is clear that the Syrians have lost the right to self-determination, and I mean here all the Syrians without exception, including the regime. The reason for this is the absence of a revolutionary national project supported by all Syrians without exception and lack of sincerity in revolutionary action. It has been proven that most of those who worked in the revolution depended on a supportive state and illusion that the realization of the interests of the supporting state first will be a gateway to achieve the interests of the Syrian revolution
It is clear that Russia is trying to rebuild the Syrian state according to its own vision, and its will is far from responding or even listening to the voice of the Syrian people.
