Kovan Keno: United we stand, we will foil Turkish conspiracies

Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Roj Party in Syria Kovan Keno called the Kurdish parties and organizations to stand together in order to foil the Turkish conspiracies against the Kurdish people, pointing out to the necessity of holding a Kurdish national congress.

Rojava and Başûr Kurdistan are subjected to occupational attacks by the Justice and Development Government in an attempt to extend its influence at the expense of Kurdistan territories in an attempt to annihilate the Kurdish language and culture.

Many calls have been made to unite the Kurdish rank and hold a Kurdish a national congress, about this subject, Hawar news agency interviewed Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Roj Party in Syria Kovan Keno.

Kovan Keno said “The enemies of the Kurdish people have, through history, never perceived the Kurdish cause with fraternity and co-existence’s eye, since their goal and strategy were confined to imposing agendas and fulfilling their goals.

Keno recalled the conspiracies that succeeded one another starting from Sheikh Saied revolution reaching to the international conspiracy against the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan in February 15, Keno stated “These conspiracies are still ongoing till the day by Turkey and its gangs’ occupation to Afrin and its intervention in the affairs of Başûr Kurdistan.

Keno also recalled to mind the Şengal happenings and annihilations IS committed against its people, “At that time, the Kurdish parties and organizations should have stood together, since that catastrophe was the biggest motivation for Kurds to hold the Kurdish national congress.” Kovan went on “What Şengal has been subjected to, annihilation and destruction of holy shrines is a clear indication of the originality of the Kurdish people in the region, was planned by the Turkish occupation.

Kovan Keno noted that the Turkish occupation does not fight a particular party or mindset; he stated “Contrarily, they have been trying to obliterate the Kurdish identity particularly in Bakur Kurdistan even before any party was founded, they find every Kurd an enemy to them in every part of Kurdistan.
