#Narges_Mohammadi sentenced human rights activist to 80 lashes, 30 months in prison and two fines.

This sentence was notified to Narges Mohammadi on the 29th of Ordibehesht.

Narges Mohammadi was sentenced to 80 lashes, 30 months in prison and a fine!


Narges Mohammadi's wife, Taghi Rahmani, announced that Ms. Mohammadi had been sentenced to imprisonment, flogging, and fines.


Branch 1177 of the Criminal Court of the Quds Judicial Complex in Tehran issued its final verdict on May 19 acquitting Narges Mohammadi.


According to the verdict, Narges Mohammadi was sentenced to 80 lashes, 30 months in prison and two fines.


Charges of the spokesperson of the Defenders of Human Rights Association in this case:

Propaganda activities against the regime through the publication of a statement, a statement against the death penalty


Sit in the prison office (sit-in in December 1998 to protest the killing of people on the streets across the country)


Rebellion against the request of the prison authorities and authorities (to end the protest sit-in), destruction of glass, defamation on charges of torture and assault.
