German police raided the premises of three associations associated with the Hezbollah terrorist group backed by the Iranian terrorist regime.

The German Interior Ministry announced on Wednesday that it had banned three associations accused of aiding the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group.

A ministry spokesman wrote on Twitter that police had launched an operation in several locations in seven German states on Wednesday morning to close the associations.

"Those who support terrorism will not be safe in Germany," a German Interior Ministry spokesman told Reuters, according to Reuters. "No matter what clothes its fans wear, they will not find refuge in our country."

Germany sanctioned Hezbollah on its soil and declared the group a "terrorist organization" last year.

According to reports, the three associations that police raided were the German-Lebanese family, the People for the People, and the Give Peace group, which was previously banned on April 15.

These associations are accused of raising funds for the families of Hezbollah fighters killed in Lebanon "under the guise of religious and humanitarian aid."
