Israeli Defense Minister Bani Gantz said in response to the decision of the Human Rights Council:

 "The decision of the UN Human Rights Council removes all legitimacy for its survival. There has never been an army that has been able to carry out such complex operations with minimal damage to those involved in the face of an enemy that has turned homes, clinics and streets in Gaza into battlefields. "There is no doubt that Hamas leaders are despicable war criminals, and any peace-loving country must beware of Hamas leaders whose hands are stained with blood." The Israeli army is the moral army of the world - and it's duty to protect Israeli citizens with "Full support will continue." The Human Rights Council does not consider Israel involved in terrorist groups such as ISIS in Gaza
